Following on from my first four Girl of the Week posts, I’ve had a bit of a break from posting. I was after something a little more substantial than a rather vague bit of text and some stunning photos, not that I don’t like seeing stunning photos, but previously the blog posts seemed to lack substance.

After messaging Lara Larsen, a newcomer to the latex modelling scene (of which by now it should be obvious that I am a fan of) she asked if I had any questions, so we had a little back and forth and this is the resulting interview. I think it’s safe to say that I’m now crushing fairly hard on this German Bombshell! Enjoy!

Hi Lara, so I recently came across your profile on social media, instantly I was struck by how cute and sexy you are, when did you realize that you had what it takes to model?

You make me blush! Thank you so much for your kind compliments but to be honest I never thought I would be a model. I think every girl likes to be shot but it was a photographer who wanted to make some cool photos with me. He liked my style and my passion for latex fashion and started with me some very cool photos. It was a big fun for me and I liked it so we met once again and thought about starting a business togetherโ€ฆ my website was born. ๐Ÿ™‚

When did you decide to start modelling latex fashion and was it an interest before you got into modelling?

Yes, latex was always my passion and most favourite fashion. I got in contact with latex by a friend and loved this material so much that I got more and more pieces of latex. At first, I bought some simple basics like stockings and lingerie but with time I got a cute little skirt and some dresses. I got seriously addicted to wear latex. I felt proud to be different in a sexy way.

One year ago, I was starting modelling and so everything got more professional because I got the opportunity to wear some brand new designs of well-known designers. That makes me very proud and is also a big motivation for me to continue on my way. ๐Ÿ™‚

I see that you make latex accessories (phone cases, lanyards etc) what prompted this? Have you ever hand made any garments to wear?

You are so attentive – thank you! Well, the accessories were just a very first project and were invented after a chat with a friend of mine. I liked this alternative idea that someone loves latex like me but isnโ€™t always in the situation to wear latex garments. So, I started designing my very first accessory โ€“ the latex phone case.

I tried several ways to let it look cool and invested a lot of time to get a feeling how to sew latex correctly. I planned to make it look awesome so I spent a lot of time to develop the first phone case.

Iโ€™m getting more and more into the process of how to glue latex but I still focus currently more on accessories. I think that there are many cool designers for garments but there is a demand for the little things in life. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The place to buy these accessories is www.latexshopping.com correct? – That’s a great domain name, I’m surprised it wasn’t already snapped up!

*giggles* Me too! I was looking for so many domains and tried a lot to find a cool name for my shop. I wanted to keep it free of my name and make it more independent but after a half night and some cool chats with friends I found this domain name โ€ฆ yesss ๐Ÿ™‚

You’re from Leipzig, Germany, have you travelled much? Where’s your favourite place in the world?

Travelling is one of my passions because I love it to see cool new places. Unfortunately, I have not visited so many places outside of Germany because this hobby is a little expensive. I can say that all my trips have been fantastic and special. It always depends on what you do and visit for yourself and I think that every place can be worth a visit.

If I should take some special moments I can recommend the fantastic mountain views at Maria Alm, if you like snowboarding then this is a pretty cool place to go. If you are more into sun and beach you would love to travel to the Turkey and enjoy the landscape with a very friendly culture. Finally, I would recommend Croatia, especially Sibenik which was a beautiful and outstanding old-town.

What was your favourite ever photo shoot?

This is so difficult! I mostly like every photo shooting which was recently done because I take a lot of time to choose the coolest outfits which I have and plan with my photographer where and how to shoot it. So, I have a very personal connection to every single photo shoot but for now my recent photo shooting โ€œSensual Pleasure Girlโ€ is my favourite. The perfect gloss, the latex and the hood or so cool. It was the very first time that I tried a latex mask and I liked this feeling and look a lot.

Wow, Stunning!

What was your favourite ever shoot location?

The most impressive and most favourite shoot ever so far was in Austria at Maria Alm with the perfect look in the valley. It was cool holidays and I remember very well how I was wearing my blue latex catsuit and planned to snowboard with it. The sun on my back was so nice and warm that I didnโ€™t notice that it was really cold outside. I was just reminded about the little fact that it was winter when I stood in the shadow. ๐Ÿ™‚

That catsuit in that location on you really is a perfect combination. Wow.

What was/is your favourite outfit you’ve worn for a shoot?

I totally love some crazy and sexy outfits so every dress which plays with show and hide is made for me. Recently, I got a dress which I wore in โ€œAutumn Colorsโ€ย  which is exactly a dress I love. It is tight with a cool latex-grid and is somehow really cute but also very sexy.

Beautiful photo.

If you could do a shoot with any other fetish/latex model, who would it be?

This is so difficult to answer because there are so many models outside which work I really like. I canโ€™t name just one and the list would get too long right now. Iโ€™m a newcomer latex model and working with another model is always exciting and interesting from my side.

Who is your current favourite designer?

Absolutely, and for sure Simon O. Somehow, I love his designs which are sexy but also good to wear on an event but also in public. Some of his garments are for a more kinky moment and some are cute or casual like his recent sport collection. The quality was always perfect for me.

What are your plans for the next 12 months, what can we expect to see from you?

I was expecting this question. ๐Ÿ™‚ In fact, I want to continue my modelling work of course because this is a big fun for me and my passion. Some interesting designers are in contact and plan some new collections and we think about a great business together.

I also got some requests from webmasters who need some editors who want to write about places and because travelling is my passion this business is made for me.

Finally, I plan to add some more accessories to my shop and maybe I will add some little garments like gloves or lingerie. I have so many ideas which I want to realize but finally itโ€™s a question of time. So, I canโ€™t promise anything but I think that you will hear from me. ๐Ÿ™‚

If people would like to find out more, and see more photos, where can they do this?

The very best place to see my work and my process is for sure my website laralarsen.com where I publish all me newest photo and video sets. I also publish some selfies on Facebook which is for sure also a good place to keep up-to-date with me ๐Ÿ™‚

Lara, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions.

Beautiful, Sexy and Friendly.

Perfect!

I look forward to seeing more of your work!
