My Great Affliction – Another Man

Notice. People graffitiing the sign, didn't get the notice. Maybe they couldn't read. This sign hangs on a fence next to a gate of a very overgrown plot which I believe at one time was a factory. It would make a fantastic plot for a huge house "in the woods" - no doubt with the passing of time, it'll eventually become an entire housing estate. The sign is still cool though.

Autumn has arrived..!

Nice day for a quick stroll along the canal. Spotted this fine fellow about half way up the locks. He flew about 30 yards from where I was standing in the first picture to where he is here and it was majestic. Massive wingspan and so graceful with the spindly legs. Shame they try to steal the koi from my old man's pond! #Heron #Canal #DownTheCut

Went for a stroll yesterday and at the end of the walk I spotted this barge coming towards me down the cut, with the blue sky the ducks and the lush green I felt compelled to take a photo. Quite like living with this on the doorstep.
