Which is better, Eley or Lapua 22lr?

It blows my mind a little bit to know that the 9 locks at the Delph is nearly 170 years old, as seen by the meticulous carving on the hand shaped (you can see the tool marks) head stones of each of the locks here. 170 years the design has stood well. With 2 metric tonne locks holding back the water and 9 rises with the adequate reservoirs and intelligent design of the 1850's. Still standing, still used. Not much of the industrial revolution left, but the canals still stand strong.

Throwback to last month when we went to Doniford Bay for a week. Much needed holiday and lots of fun with the family! These were from a walk along the beach/cliffs to get some steps in! Wish we were back there, dare say the caravans would be a bit cold now though!!

It's not very often that you see trains on this track, so I was pretty lucky to see this engine crossing the bridge the other day as I walked under it. As soon as I heard the rumble I whipped out my phone and snapped 3 blurry images as it clattered past. This was the back end of the train as it went right to left. Earlier that day I'd taken a photo from above a bridge overlooking the exact bridge seen here. Industrial, grungy, autumnal. Lots to like here.

A disney on ice kind of day!

Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s P90. Not had this one long - it's a lovely guitar and I gelled great with it, however the opportunity for a custom shop guitar is looking like it might be a possibility, so last in, first out. On ebay now if anyone's interested. Posting here as a forever memory of my social distortion guitar! @mikeness @socialdistortion

This has been a long time in the making. A few years ago I was trying to build up to 10k steps per day and kept injuring myself trying to push too hard too soon. Over a number of months this year I've built up slowly and can finally, comfortably walk 10k per day without my ankles, knees or hips giving me grief for weeks after a jaunt. It might not be impressive to most, but this badge represents a milestone in my personal fitness.

Notice. People graffitiing the sign, didn't get the notice. Maybe they couldn't read. This sign hangs on a fence next to a gate of a very overgrown plot which I believe at one time was a factory. It would make a fantastic plot for a huge house "in the woods" - no doubt with the passing of time, it'll eventually become an entire housing estate. The sign is still cool though.
